For Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, June 2 is a major date on the calendar—it's the birthday of their oldest son, Michael. The firstborn of the Consuelos crew (Kelly and Mark also share daughter Lola, 23, and son Joaquin, 21) just turned 28. Naturally, his parents took to Instagram to mark the occasion with a tribute with equal parts nostalgia and sweetness.

Kelly and Mark shared a joint post on Instagram featuring a video montage set to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. The clip includes everything from baby Michael coming home from the hospital to silly dance moments with his siblings, birthday parties and more recent family memories.

“Our #1 is 28! Happiest birthday @michael.consuelos—the leader of the pack. We love you,” they captioned the post.

Fans flooded the comments with birthday wishes and emotional reactions. One wrote simply, “I’m sobbing.” But what really stood out to me while watching? How much Michael looks like his dad, Mark. Like, almost uncanny levels of resemblance. There were moments in the montage where I had to double-check whether I was seeing young Mark or grown-up Michael. Genetics really did their thing here.

The celebration didn’t stop on social. That morning on Live with Kelly and Mark, the couple gave another birthday shoutout to their son.

“Our newborn baby, our first child, is 28 years old today,” Kelly said, according to Hello!. “Of course, I refuse to wish him a happy birthday until 7:17 PM. Because that is when he was born, and right now, technically, I’m still in labor.”

Happy 28th, Michael—your mom and dad are clearly your biggest fans.
