Attention fellow true-crime lovers: There's a riveting new series on Netflix that seems like a total must-watch, and the trailer alone is chilling.
Currently holding the number two spot on Netflix, Cold Case: The Tylenol Murders, which made its debut on Monday, takes a deeper look into the investigation of who is behind the 1982 killings of seven people in Chicago who died after taking extra-strength Tylenol pills laced with cyanide. Directed by Yotam Guendelman and Ari Pines, the three-part docuseries taps a range of investigators and medical professionals to determine how these seemingly healthy individuals dropped dead out of nowhere, while also hearing input from the victims' relatives. The link to the cyanide poisoning between all of the victims eventually came after a medical examiner made the connection, but from there, the case went cold as police worked tirelessly tried to find out who was behind it.
