You’ve Definitely Seen 'Sirens' Star Britne Oldford Before—Here's Why She Looks *So* Familiar

In case it flew under your radar, Netflix dropped a dark comedy limited series last month called Sirens—and it made major waves. The story follows two sisters, Devon and Simone, navigating one chaotic, high-stakes weekend at a luxurious beach estate. Devon grows increasingly suspicious of her sister Simone’s unsettling relationship with her new boss, billionaire Michaela, and decides it’s time for a full-blown intervention. Oh, and the cast? Total A-list energy.

Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus) and Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon and the upcoming Supergirl) star as the DeWitt sisters. The supporting cast includes heavy-hitters like Kevin Bacon, Julianne Moore, Glenn Howerton, Bill Camp and Felix Solis. So yes, it’s packed with familiar faces. But one actress you might have paused to Google? Britne Oldford.

In Sirens, Britne plays Missy, the estate’s seasonal housekeeper. And if she seemed familiar, there's a reason: she’s been quietly building a solid resume for over 15 years. Horror fans may remember her from American Horror Story: Asylum, where she appeared in six episodes. Or maybe you recognize her from The Umbrella Academy on Netflix, where she had a main role in season three.

But her work doesn’t stop there. Britne has racked up roles in a bunch of critically acclaimed series, including Peacock’s crime drama Long Bright River (starring Amanda Seyfried), the psychological thriller Dead Ringers on Prime Video and network hits like Blindspot and The Flash.

And if you were a Skins fan during the MTV era, you might recall her from one of her earliest roles on the (somewhat controversial) teen drama.

Long story short: Britne Oldford is far from new to the scene.
