When it comes to shopping for my summer wardrobe, Free People is always one of my first stops. I adore the breezy, bohemian designs that are as cute as they are comfortable. But the one downside? Free People items can be *pricey*—or so I thought. To my surprise, during my most recent scroll of the site, I noticed a bunch of finds for less than $100. In fact, there's a whopping 25 pages of them here, including the popular Hot Shot Crossover set ($98) and this flowy cotton skirt ($60) that I can see myself wearing on repeat this season.

Also interested in a FP shopping spree that won't leave you sticker shocked (at least, not in a bad way)? Below, I've rounded up seven of the best budget-friendly buys to get you started.

The bow straps, the smocked bodice, the trendy drop-waist cut—this striped maxi has everything I could want and more in a summer sundress. What's better? It comes in a bunch of different color combos and is made from a soft, 100 percent cotton fabric that will feel perfectly breezy in the summer heat.

After seeing this set pop up over and over again on my TikTok feed, I simply can't resist it any longer. It's made from stretchy cotton that gives the set a comfy and flattering fit, and, yes, comes with both the top and ankle-length pants included. Considering more than 40,000 other Free People shoppers are eyeing it too, I'd get it in your cart now if you're set on a certain one of the 22 colors it comes in.

Tons of PureWow readers have been picking up this floaty midi skirt lately, and I can definitely see why. Its all-cotton construction and stretchy waistband make it as comfy as it is stylish, and it's such a great staple piece that I can already think of about a million ways to wear it. (Personally, I'll be pairing it with a fitted tank for now then a slouchy sweater come fall.) And to top it off, it comes in at just $60.

I saw someone wearing this top out and about a couple of weekends ago, and honestly, the photos don't do it justice. This lace-detailed shirt has a drapey fit that's super flattering, while the adjustable bow at the neckline gives it a totally on-trend look. Not to mention, the fabric has a bit of shine to it, making it easy to dress up or down.

Shorts and a top for less than $80? Sign me up. Especially if we're talking this matching set (which I saw in-store and looks somehow even cuter in person, BTW) that shoppers say is, "not too heavy or too light. It’s just right." Others call out that it's so comfortable, they plan to order it in multiple colors. At this price, it's certainly worth it.

"I live [in] this dress. On those sweltering summer days it will be my savior," wrote one Free People shopper—and at that I was instantly sold. But if you need a little more info before clicking "checkout," you should know that this mini dress is made from a soft linen and cotton blend material and it comes in sizes XS to XL in ten different colors. Some reviewers do say the arm holes are a bit low-cut, so you might want to layer something underneath (like one of the brand's pretty bralettes, perhaps?).

Gingham is always a good idea for summer if you ask me, but this year it's trending in a big way (see: the picnic core aesthetic). I adore these cotton seersucker shorts that offer a perfect pop of the print. You can easily pair them with any neutral tank, or a lightweight sweater and your favorite clogs on cool mornings. And according to shoppers who own multiple pairs, they're "worth every penny" for their comfy fit. So go ahead and grab a pair for yourself—and maybe plan a picnic to wear them to while you're at it.
