Real fast food fans see the seasons in terms of limited-time menu items. For instance, Wendy’s crispy panko fish sandwich is a spring essential in my book, and the famous Cranberry Bliss Bars from Starbucks taste like Christmas. As for summer, it just may be epitomized by Chick-fil-A’s peach menu, which fans rave about year after year on social media. To see if the sweet drinks were worth the hype (they cost about $5 each, depending on the location), I headed to my nearest location to try them.
Chick-fil-A’s Cult-Favorite Peach Menu Is Back—but Is It Worth the Hype? Here’s a Food Editor’s Review
Sip your hearts out

Peach Frosted Lemonade
The season’s signature fruit teams up with summer’s unofficial beverage mascot for a sweet-and-sour sipper you’ll crave all year long. It’s a hand-spun blend of Chick-fil-A lemonade, Icedream (that’s the chain’s vanilla soft serve) and peaches.
I was super excited to taste this one, considering I named the O.G. Frosted Lemonade the runner-up in my fast food dessert ranking. It was undeniably creamy, but not so thick that I couldn’t easily drink it from a straw. Its flavor was vibrant (thanks to the citrus), balanced by the milky sweetness of the soft serve. (Personally, I wouldn’t have minded more lemonade, even if that made the consistency a bit thinner, because I love all things mouth-puckering.)
The peach iteration is, of course, sweeter, due to the fruit. But if you like your lemonade on the sweet side, this is going to hit the spot. It’s still balanced and tart, and its thinner-than-a-milkshake consistency makes it damn near chuggable.
Peach Milkshake
If you’re seeking something more indulgent, there’s the peach milkshake. Spun by hand with Icedream and peach purée, the masterpiece is topped with whipped cream and a cherry for good measure. Without the lemonade, it’s more of a peaches-and-cream situation. It’s very milky, creamy and sweet, but still studded with plenty of tender, tart peach pieces. They’re plentiful and robust enough to offer a pop of brightness in each sip, despite the mild vanilla base.
The TLDR? Both are well worth a trip to your nearest Chick-fil-A.
