The "weight" is over: A new Samsung Galaxy smartphone is officially on the way, and not only does the brand claim that it's their slimmest S Series phone yet, but it also boasts a 200MP camera that supposedly captures epic pictures every dang time. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge (with a 6.7-inch screen) is 5.8 millimeters thick and weighs 163 grams. Translation: It's as thin as a pencil and as light as a peach, so it's no wonder everyone is lining up to pre-order it as we speak (including me).

Of course, the sleek and thin design isn't the only thing you have to look forward to if you make the upgrade. On top of being shielded by a strong titanium frame and equipped with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, it's water- *and* dust-resistant, so slips and spills won't stand a chance against it. But is the camera as impressive as the older (and larger) Samsung smartphones? Being that the Galaxy S25 Edge packs 200 megapixels into a single rear camera and has an AI-enhanced ProVisual Engine that improves color (whether you're taking pictures or videos during the day or night), I think it's safe to say that it won't disappoint. But that's not even half of it.

The brand is introducing its most powerful processor (the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy) with this new smartphone, so you can expect super fast processing and upgraded AI performance, including with Gemini Live—a feature that allows you to speak to the virtual assistant and get responses in real time, so you can always be one step ahead! The device's long-lasting battery and versatile colors (jetblack, silver and icyblue) also don't go unnoticed.
